At For Pete's Sake, Walk! we walk beside cancer survivors and their caregivers, and we honor those who have lost their battle with the disease. We share beautiful moments of hope and reflection, and create memories with our family and friends.
We celebrate relationships at For Pete's Sake, Walk! Our relationships are what get us through our darkest days, and the struggles of a cancer diagnosis can bring us closer.
Enjoy a day filled with moments that will create memories! Kids and adults alike will love a visit from the Philly Phanatic! After the walk, enjoy face painting, delicious snacks and dance to music! Our walk will take us around the concourse at Citizens Bank Park and weather permitting, a lap around the bases. The walk route is fun for all ages and concludes with a keepsake photo op in one of the dugouts!
Together, we will transform lives by giving people a break from cancer and empowering them with emotional resources to cope and carry on. Take a break and walk with us, to help families take a break from cancer!
Leaders for Love is Greater Than Cancer is a group of Philadelphia business leaders that have joined our efforts to advocate and raise funds through our FPS, Walk! Each Leader for Love will form their own team to help raise a minimum of $2,500 in donations to ensure that Families Facing Cancer Never Walk Alone. Having the support of local Philadelphia business leaders not only raises support for our cancer respite mission, it allows for rallying community encouragement for families facing cancer. Our Leaders for Love have three goals: raising funds, promoting advocacy and building community! We invite you to join the Leaders For Love is Greater Than Cancer initiative and help us change lives today, one smile at a time!
