The For Pete’s Sake mission inspires me because unfortunately almost everyone, in some form, has personally known someone with cancer. Having seen the impact that cancer treatments have on the patient and their families, I understand the need and the benefit that a respite experience can have. Being able to provide an experience that can provide a slight reprieve in what has become the norm for these families is unbelievable. Hearing the stories from For Pete’s Sake’s travelers put their respite mission into perspective and made me realize that I can do more.
