Thank you for visiting my personal page!!!  The For Pete's Sake foundation provided my family with a respite to  Camp Wavus in  Jefferson, Maine, summer 2018.  My cancer had not only isolated me for a few years, it also isolated my husband and 3 active teenagers. When our children were really small, we looked forward to vacationing with the kids when they reached their teens so we could do more adventurous activities. However a cancer diagnosis changed those plans when my youngest was 9 years old.   For Pete's Sake must have heard that conversation, because we had the opportunity to live that dream without me compromising my health and well being.  Our respite not only had a loving staff, beautiful location and activities, we shared our experience with 9 other families going through very similar challenges and had the time of our lives!!!   I am proud to say that the " Que Pasa Crew" is one of the many cool names we could call our respite family    Each one of those names has a great story behind it!!  Please help more families create memories and bonds as my family has!!!
