Welcome to Kevin Blevin's Fundraising Page

My name is Kevin Blevins and I’m a long distance motorcycle rider. I’m riding in the Hoka Hey Challenge, which is a 10,000 mile motorcycle endurance challenge. The purpose of the event, originally, was to raise awareness for the Lakota Indians, and now the participants can pick their own charity to support as well. I decided to ride in support of For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation because my company, Phillips Corporation, has supported this organization for years.
Recently, I’ve had a family member diagnosed and currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. I’ve seen the effects on her, her husband and their two young children who don’t quite understand what is happening to their mom. I know the toll cancer takes on a family and want to help make things better for families facing cancer.
The Hoka Hey Challenge takes 12 days to complete, with no GPS navigation allowed, and requires the participant sleep by their bike in a tent or hammock. These are only minor inconveniences compared to what families facing a cancer diagnosis go through. I’m hoping to help spread awareness of For Pete’s Sake and their mission to give families a break from cancer and raise some funds to contribute to that goal. Join me and make a donation today!
