Tom, the kids and I just recently returned from a wonderful respite vacation to Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos that was provided by For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation. This respite opportunity has given us all a much-needed break from cancer, allowing us time to refresh, rejuvenate, relax, and focus on our relationships with one another. For all of us this meant a week of activities and personal time where we enjoyed each moment without thinking about doctor’s appointments or treatment. I was so inspired by the work that FPS does that I wanted to get involved and help them continue to do what they do for young adults with cancer. Your support to my personal page can provide another young adult cancer patient and their family a much needed break from cancer.
